How we make horoscopes

Luma Horoscopes is a free website and video channel grounded in astronomical data. This page explains where the sky facts come from and how the interpretations are written.

Sky data first

Event times and planetary positions come from NASA JPL's DE440s ephemeris, calculated with Skyfield and cross-checked against the independent astronomy-engine library. Positions are geocentric and use the tropical zodiac. Every dated sky fact on the site is taken from these validated data files, and times are shown in UTC with US Eastern alongside.

Interpretation

Horoscope text is written with AI assistance and checked against written rules for accuracy, tone and safety before it is published. It is not reviewed by an astrologer, and it is not an individual chart reading: readings use Sun signs, and the Venus guide uses a birth date only, so nothing here uses houses, rising signs or birth times. Each weekly reading names the sky events it is based on. Interpretations are framed as themes for reflection, not predictions.

What these readings are not

Luma Horoscopes is for entertainment and reflection only. Nothing here predicts events or outcomes, and it isn't medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Decisions about your relationships, health and money are yours.
